We've both been artists from a very young age, my mom just has a 30 year head start. We went to different Art Colleges to study illustration. Until recently our artistic expression has been very different. Partly due to Covid19, we fell in love with Surface Pattern Design. We primarily use acrylics, Photoshop and  Illustrator to turn our art and designs into repeatable patterns. It's easy to see these repeatable designs turn into cool room ideas or be used on equally cool affordable gifts. I started learning photoshop from my dad when I was ten.  These last two years my mom decided to learn Photoshop and Illustrator to make Surface Pattern Designs, taking online classes with Sarah Watts and Bonnie Christine. 

I have always enjoy telling stories in my paintings. My mom's art has primarily  been inspired by nature, emotion, specially cheerful art and symbolism. Her favorite artist is Matisse which is sometimes obvious in her work.  It has been exciting being able to share our art and designs on so many affordable gifts to create cool room ideas on Society 6 and RedBubble and most recently on Spoonflower Fabrics.
